How We Help...

TM

Our main objective is to raise awareness about the need for shark conservation. We use various methods to achieve this goal including; bumper stickers, ‘Save Our Sharks’ branded clothing and petitioning against shark nets, drum lines and shark finning.

We also raise awareness using Facebook and Twitter, deliver educational programs and resources to school groups and support other shark conservation websites and organisations.

All money raised goes directly back to shark conservation, whether it be creating more stickers, paying for the upkeep of our website, or more large scale initiatives such as billboards and educational programs.

We would like to express our gratitude to all those who have supported Save Our Sharks financially. Their names are listed on our “Sponsors and Supporters” page.

Below are some of the ways we help Save Sharks and promote Shark Conservation Awareness and some of the ways that others are helping to promote Shark Conservation worldwide!

How Our Supporters Are Helping...
Be Inspired... Make a Difference!!
For 15 years my family and I visited Smoky Cape Light House on our Christmas holidays. Each year I would stare misty eyed at Fish Rock and wonder what was living under that rock. Three years ago I decided I would give up a day of surfing and dive the Rock.
Weather stalled my first two attempts, but this year it all came together.
I hope my little video helps to change peoples perceptions and that they will learn to love all marine creatures, especially our sharks.
Cheers
